Well for a first day of school outfit it depends on how dressy you want to go and your school’s dress code. My go-to for first day in high school was usually a cute (and modest, my school’s dress code was pretty strict) sundress like this from Red Dress Boutique-

Or if you don’t quite want to go the dress route (though I feel a cute sundress is always appropriate) some khaki shorts and a bold, lightweight top or bright shorts paired with a more neutral top like in this outfit I found on pinterest-

I also usually brought a cardigan to wear in class because my school was always so cold but my clothes were always really light because of the Georgia August heat!

As far as more warm weather outfits, I usually stick to the same formula. Lightweight fabrics, shorts and sandals or a breezy dress or skirt! I like to go with versatile basics dressed up with fun accessories.
